General Visa Requirements
At the present moment and time most nationals with European passports and those of Japan South Korea Brunei Chile and Taiwan are able to travel to Americas without a visa under the Visa Waiver Program(VWP). However will have to apply for authorization though the Electronic System for Travel Authorization ESTA on line prior to traveling to America.
All other nationals will need to apply for a visa.
South America is made-up of 12 independent countries so you will need to contact the countries embassies that you intend to visit.
